Specifications Guarantee

Elasticity

We guarantee there will be NO FISSURES. The elastic characteristics of Topciment microcements will withstand slight deformations if their application is correct. If cracks appear, the guarantee does not cover defects caused by cracking of the support due to bad workmanship in the preparation of the support.

Physical Resistance

Microcement is comparable to natural wood parquet, however, in terms of RESISTANCE TO SCRATCHES, BLOWS AND WEAR, tests carried out in accordance with EN standards indicate that their functionality far exceeds that of the majority of natural wooden floors. The guarantee does not cover damage caused by customer misuse, such as shocks, scratches, cuts or similar damage.

Chemical resistance

The microcement coating has good RESISTANCE to CHEMICAL CLEANING PRODUCTS; however, we recommend the use of water and neutral soap for its durability and maintenance. Being a continuous coating, without joints, cleaning is made much easier.

Anti-slip

We certify a high non-slip suitability, synonymous with safety.

Reaction to fire

Constructive materials’ reaction to fire is the behaviour of a material with respect to its contribution to the development of the flames when faced with fire, this behaviour is classified according to the CTE SI regulation.

What is the CTE SI Regulation? It is a set of norms and protocols that are mandatory for these constructive elements in their different situations and uses. Together with the CE marking, the safety of our material is certified in case of fire.

The Microfino wall system, with all its layers including the seal, has obtained the classification B-S1, d0

The Microdeck floor system, with all its layers including the seal, is classified as Bfl-S1.

The classification used by the Technical Code is defined by the following parameters.

Adherence

Topciment guarantees the GREAT ADHERENCE of its microcements to any type of surface, even to tiles or crystals, thanks to its formulation.

Colour Stability

The pigments used to give colour to the microcement are of a mineral origin, which are those that behave best when faced with the alkalinity of the cement, and with the climate and bright sunlight, remaining stable without sustaining any obvious alterations.

The varnishes used for sealing are aliphatic, their chemical composition ensure that they have a hard finish, very resistant to the ultraviolet rays, so that they do not turn yellow due to sunlight

Impermeability

Thanks to the sealants applied to the finish of our microcements, their hardness and resistance is increased. Waterproof and moisture resistant surfaces are achieved, making them very suitable in bathrooms and showers.
